Born in 1994 in Taiwan, Yi-Hsuan Tseng started the piano at the age of four. In 2017, she graduated with the highest achievement in the Bachelor Piano Performance from the Taipei National University of the Arts. During university she started the pipe organ as her second minor instrument, and while studying at the Taipei National University of the Arts, she also received the highest grade with her minor in pipe organ. In 2020, she has received both a masters degree and certificate of Pedagogic Qualification from the Taipei National University of the Arts. In 2021, she obtained also her masters degree piano performance from the University Mozarteum Salzburg. In August of 2021 she was invited to publish her own book „Robert Schumann Carnaval Op.9“ with the German publishing company „Lehrbuchverlag“. At the moment she is studying with the chair of the piano department at the University Mozarteum Salzburg, Prof. Andreas Groethuysen. She is working on her postgraduate degree in piano performance, and will graduate in July of 2023. During her studies she won numerous scholarships and piano competitions, for example the First Prize in the Seidof & Sons International Piano Competition; the Platinum Prize in the Quebec International Music Competition; the Gold Prize in the European Elite Piano Competition, at the same time she has received Country Representative Winner and Artist of the month Winner; the Gold Prize in the London Young Musician;the Gold Prize in the World Grand Prix International Music Contest; the Gold Prize in the 2022 Grand Master Music Competition; the Gold Prize in the World Classical Music Awards; the First Prize in the International Piano Competition Mozart; the First Prize in the IMKA Music Competition; the First Prize in the Vivaldi International Music Competition; the Gold Prize in the North American Virtuoso International Music Competition; the First Prize in the IX Odin International Music Competition; the First Prize in the Four Notes International Piano Competition; the Gold Prize in the Best Classical Musicians Awards; the Gold Prize in the Global Genius Music Competition; the Gold Prize in the Universal Stars Music Competition; the First Prize in the American Classical Young Musician Award; the Gold Prize in the European Summer Music Competition; the Gold Prize in the Sky Music Artist Award; the Gold Prize in the The 21st Century Prominent Musicians Award; the Gold Prize in the Euterpe Music Awards; the Gold Prize in the Ad Libitum International PianoCompetition; the Gold Prize in the Sibelius Music Competition; the Pianist of the Year Award in the European Classical Music Awards 2022 Grand Prix; the First Prize in the International Mozart Competition Vienna; the Pianist of the Year Award and Annual Maestro Piano Performance in the London Young Musician; the First Prize in the International Classical Music Competition of the Vienna Classical Music Academy...etc.
